Weight Issues in the News

Today the BBC says:
Curvy women may be a clever bet

Women with curvy figures are likely to be brighter than waif-like counterparts and may well produce more intelligent offspring, a US study suggests.

But the BBC also says:
Australia airline 'fat tax' urged

A leading Australian nutritionist has urged airlines to charge obese passengers more for their seats.
Read more about that here. What about smelly people who need to have their seats steamed cleaned after flying, or thick people who piss off other passengers, thereby increasing the stress for airline staff? Will they be taxed more in the long run as well? Of course, I'm asking tongue-in-cheek but mark my words.....
